Key
Featues of the System:
1.
MANIFOLD / BULK STORAGE TANK:
The function
of manifold is to store sufficient amount of LPG in Cylinder as
per the norms set by Explosive Department. In Manifold, the two
type of cylinder bank are provided. As soon as the LPG in the cylinder
of active bank is exhausted, the stand by bank is operated, for
that an automatic change over device is incorporated .The pipe used
for supply of LPG is cold drawn seamless, electric resistance welded,
oxy acetylene pipe of suitable size.
As per the
norms set by explosive department, if stationery installation of
LPG gas is more than 999 kg, then bulk storage tank is provided
to store the LPG in bulk. LPG bulk storage tank conforms to "
unfired" pressure vessel code and stationery Regulation.
The following
Design codes are practiced.
- Asme . See.
VIII Div. I & II
- B-S 5500
- I.S 2825
2.
PRESSURE REDUCING STATION - I (PRS-I)
Pressure of
LPG which is around 6-7 kgf/cm2 in the cylinder or tank is reduced
to 1.2 kgf/cm2 in the first stage Pressure reducing station -I at
the storage level. An under pressure and over pressure device is
incorporated for additional safety. The output of PRS -I is 1.2
kgf/cm2 flows up to the PRS-II.
3.
PRESSURE REDUCING STATION - II (PRS-II)
The PRS-II is located at entrance of Building. The outlet pressure
of PRS-II is 150-mill bar .The under pressure and over pressure
shut-off valves is installed here.
4
PIPE LINE SYSTEM
The pipeline travels the distance from PRS-II to the Kitchen. The
pressure of LPG 150-mill Bar up to the inlet of Kitchen. The shut
off valves are provided at every required stage.
5.METERING
UNIT
Inlet pressure of LPG in Kitchen is below 150 m Bar. The low pressure
Regulators is provided to reduce the pressure sufficient to operate
the gas Appliance. After regulation LPG gas flows through the gas
Meter for metering. The copper tubing with shut-off valve is provided
with nozzle to connect the rubber tubing to the gas appliance.
